We have been led to believe that they are diseases, we are disordered, and that when we have them, that we need treatment. No researcher has eer examined a young, though not yet active, normal person and discovered an abnormality that, WILL lead to an addiction or mental disorder. The problem is that no one promises that treatment will heal the 'disease' because we really do not know if, how or where the disease exists.
