The term 'relaxed and comfortable environment' could provoke visions of people sitting on couches, sharing a few appetizers with soft music in the background. Affordable comfort food, sing with, with a twist; Old friends and new- someone to dance with, or just sip a martini with; the classic drinks or a new martini for the special occasion. You can relax and be having the time of your life though, and that is exactly what the owner and staff and 'My Place' are offering the clientele. Relaxed and comfortable can mean so many things- staff that treat everyone like valued regular customers; food that can satisfy the way home-cooked can; a sense of community in which everyone is safe and happy. Such a scene exists at 'My Place', later on DJ nights, especially if you find yourself there on karaoke night, but isn't the only thing you can hope to experience, or in the middle of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Expect the best, but best to expect the unexpected.
