Canadian Jesuits International was founded by the Jesuits in English Canada. We work with Jesuit and other partners rooted in the Jesuit tradition in Asia, gender equity, human rights, peace-building, humanitarian assistance, agriculture, community development, social services, pastoral care, Latin America and the Caribbean in: education, Africa, children's rights and economic justice. We support our partners by providing personnel, sharing analysis, giving voice to their hopes and aspirations and by raising funds for their work. We carry out educational advocacy in Canada, linked with our overseas work. We support poor and marginalized peoples struggling for social justice and dignity in developing countries. We proclaim the Good News of justice and peace within the universal mission of the Society of Jesus. Our educational advocacy draws upon an extensive network of Jesuit and other partners around the world to raise Canadians' awareness of the struggles and aspirations of people in the developing world.
