It is with pleasure to announce the recipients of the 2014 Provincial Sports Awards. The participating schools qualified for the Championships at the regional level. Over 500 students, bocce, educators and coaches travelled from all across Ontario to participate in basketball, soccer and athletics. PROVINCIAL SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIPS LEAD THE WAY On June 4th in York Region, the first ever Provincial School Championships took place at Bill Crothers High School in Unionville. Please click here for the official announcement presenting the final recipients. The recipients are all well-deserved and have been notified of their award. It is not always an easy task, but we are very fortunate to have the involvement of a great selection committee. Thank you to the selection committee (made up of three board members and one past sport award recipient) for taking time from their busy schedules to help in the selection process. Students continued to train after qualifying and worked hard to showcase their skills at the Championships.
