Ms. Emma Designs was established by Sofia Verna in 1973 in Toronto, Canada. The creation of original patchwork, appliqué, and embroidery in our one-of-a-kind pieces creates those special timeless pieces worthy of collecting. Fine Italian cotton knits, viscoses wool or linens as well as sumptuous sari fabrics or handwoven blankets and shawls from the basis of our collection. Raku beads along with Czechoslovakian glass beads, which makes every piece a unique, metals are the basis for our jewellery collection, resins, bold statement. Silks are hand painted and wools felted by Sofia Verna in her studio in Italy. The main idea behind Ms. Emma Designs is to produce handcrafted women's clothing and accessories using unusual, high quality fabrics that meet the highest criteria of elegance and comfort at an affordable price. We are also introducing Italian artisans with their unique pieces to add a taste of the old world for your enjoyment and comfort.
