What you should know about East Side Players
East Side Players is one of Toronto's longest-established community theatre groups. More than 200, mysteries, dramas, 000 theatre-goers have enjoyed our 180+ shows which include comedies, thrillers and even original musical revues. We are a non-profit group, direction, having won numerous awards for best production, but we maintain a high standard, acting and technical achievement. Our twofold mission is to provide a community service: by presenting engaging, affordable theatre in a comfortable space and by offering individuals a chance to develop their interests by taking part in productions. Formed in 1967, when East York Players and Leaside Players joined forces, we've been engaging audiences for over 40 years. We perform at the recently renovated Papermill Theatre at Todmorden Mills in the heart of Toronto, where we have been Resident Theatre Company since 1972.
