College of Denturists of Ontario The Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 includes the professional of Denturism as one of the dental health professions listed under the Act. The Denturism Act, 1991 defines the College of Denturists of Ontario as the self- governing regulatory body which oversees and governs the profession. However, they can confirm whether a practitioner is certified (licensed) with the College. It is not an objective of the College of Denturists of Ontario to set the fees which are charged by Denturists. Denturists are one of 23 health care professions recognized as seIf-regulating in the province of Ontario. The College Council is comprised of licensed member Denturists, and members of the public.
